1. Hi! Welcome to my humble blog of all things bookish! I would like for us to start by getting to know you. Give us a short bio, please!
Hi, my name is P.S. Scott and here’s my official bio: P.S. Scott first started writing at seven and hasn’t looked back. An unabashed optimist, anime lover and true believer in the power of chocolate, P.S. now writes books that transport her to faraway lands of imagination and magic and shares them with other dreamers.

2. Tell us 5 fun facts people might not know about you!
Oooo this is hard. Well, here goes:
- I’ve lived in over 4 countries and tend to move around a lot.
- I can read tarot cards.
- I am one of a twin.
- I LOVE reading romance novels (though you probably knew that).
- I write in multiple genres (fantasy romance as P.S. Scott and mystery as A.M. Saint)
3. To get to know you just a little bit better, I’d like to ask you some “This or That”-questions. Answer 5 of these and explain why you chose this or that, or maybe an entirely different alternative!
Ebooks OR physical books? Ebooks.
First-person view OR third-person view? First person.
Standalone OR series? Series (but a series of standalones instead of a continuing one.)
Read multiple books OR one at a time? Multiple books, sometimes in different genres.
Signed edition OR first edition? Signed edition.

Shop at an actual bookstore OR shop books online? Online.

Hero OR anti-hero? Anti-hero.
TBR list OR mood reader? Mood reader.
Music while reading OR silence? I listen to a lot of audiobooks so silence, I guess. If I’m reading an e-book, I like to listen to music, though.
Read in bed OR read on sofa? In bed.

4. When you look for books to read, what trope, theme, or type of story will always catch your attention?
Honestly, anything romance will catch my attention, especially historical romance. Historical romances are my go-to comfort read. I like feminist heroines and unusual historical settings. The suffragist movement at Oxford in Evie Dunmore’s Bringing Down the Duke is a great example of a historical romance with an unusual settting and feminist character. I’m not partial to any particular trope and will read any trope if it’s written well. I’m also very partial to humor.
I love anything that makes me laugh. Some of my favorite humorous books are The Thursday Murder Club, the Stephanie Plum series, and Bridget Jones’ Diary. I’m a sucker for anything featuring sharp social observation like Crazy Rich Asians.
5. If you were to describe your writing style using 3 words, what would they be?
Emotional, character-driven, entertaining.
6. So what do you write? Tell us a bit more about your chosen genre, style and ongoing projects/WIPs/series!
I write fantasy and fantasy romances. My books tend to be character-driven. I’m can be lax when it comes to worldbuilding since I’m a character-driven writer and the character’s emotional journey is what I tend to focus on. I have a new book coming out this month (22nd September 2022), that’s a first in a series. It’s called Silk and Sword and it’s an enemies-to-lovers f/f fantasy romance. I’m currently working on the second book in the series, which is another standalone featuring one of the characters from Silk and Sword.

This series is more of a romance and less of a fantasy and I’ve tried to give it some of that historical romance feel. This is my first adult romance/ fantasy romance series and it’s been a pleasure to write. I can’t wait for everyone to read it.
7. What is your most recent release? Give us a short presentation, cover, and a link for where to buy it!
I’m so glad you asked! Silk and Sword is my most recent release (releasing 22nd September 2022). It’s the first in a trilogy featuring three fantasy romance standalones (with characters from the same series). Here’s the blurb:
When Lieutenant General Petronilla meets Acelina, the proprietress of Duality, it is hate at first sight. Forced into prostitution at a young age, Petronilla has rebuilt her life to become one of the highest-ranking army officials in Inferno. She detests everything the pleasure house owner stands for and doesn’t bother to hide it. Forced to spend a night together because of a bet, Petronilla realizes her feelings run deeper than she realized…
Acelina has no idea why Petronilla hates her so much. Only that the hate is mutual. The Lieutenant General never misses a chance to criticize her, and if it weren’t for her VIP customer, General Darius, she would never tolerate Petronilla. But when a secret mission forces them to live together, Acelina takes the opportunity to exact revenge.
As they get to know each other, it becomes harder to deny the attraction that burns between them. What begins as a battle of wills, becomes an undeniable passion, growing into all-consuming love that will stop at nothing.
Silk and Sword is an enemies-to-lovers F/F romance set in a fantasy world.
