πŸ“š Virgin’s Curse by J. C. Seal

πŸ“š My rating: βββββ

Virgin’s Curse is a standalone novel set in Seal’s paranormal world of Angels and Demons.

Elena is a woman cursed, living a life in solitude until the day she takes a job at the University of Athens. There, she meets a man with whom she feels an instant connection. Together, they work to unravel the mysteries of her curse, and it takes them on a wild trip beyond their imagination.

Like the Angels and Demons trilogy, this is a fast-paced book, but instead of action, there is a mystery to be solved, and an intriguing investigation takes place. The characters are fabulous, and I particularly like that they are older than the usual cast, and how fantastically well they slot together. And as always, the mix of mythology and religion is incredibly well-thought-out and highly entertaining.

As a side note, Virgin’s Curse works perfectly well on its own, but some characters part of this book are featured in the trilogy, so I think reading the trilogy first might make it even better. I really recommend this for any paranormal romance fan out there!
