1. Hi! Welcome to my humble blog of all things bookish! I would like for us to start by getting to know you. Give us a short bio, please!
Anthony was born in Rio Piedras, PR but grew up in New York City. He now resides in New England with his wife and two minor children. He is a student at Arizona State University, where he majored in history with a focus on the American Revolution. Â
He has loved science fiction and horror since childhood and finally wrote his first feature film entitled “Legacy” and released it in April 2021. His idea of what science fiction can be takes the genre in a completely different direction. Some of his favorite sci-fi elements are time travel, the multiverse, historical fiction (in a sci-fi setting), artificial intelligence, extraterrestrial life, planetary exploration, and dystopia (with a focus on science fiction). poli-science fiction).
He is an avid fan of baseball and also cooking (especially barbecue). He worked as a professional mixologist for over 25 years and has taught mixology for 14 of those years.
Fun fact: as of January 1999 he was a professional wrestler who participated in his last match in January 2020.

2. To get to know you just a little bit better, I’d like to ask you some this or that questions. Answer 5 (or more!) of these and explain why you chose this or that, or maybe an entirely different alternative!
Winter, spring, summer or autumn? Autumn. I grew up in the northeast and the change of season is awesome.
Cat or dog? Dog if I had to choose.
Tea or coffee? Neither (hate the taste of both). Hot chocolate however…
Morning or evening? Evening. I’m a night owl. The later the better.
Library or museums? Museum just because you can see more.
Hunter or gatherer? Gatherer. I have never hunted in my life.
Witches or wizards? Maybe wizards. Both can be cool though.
Ninjas or pirates? Pirates all day. I’m planning a sci-fi pirate book.
Mountains or beaches? Beaches though mountains are really cool.
Plotter or pantser? I try to be a plotter, however at times a pantser.
Pen and paper or computer/phone? Computer/phone. I will take notes by hand but all else is on tech.
Standalone or series? I prefer to read standalones but I’m in the minority. I’m currently writing a series.
Book or eBook? Depends. I love having a book in my hands but when I was reading Don Quixote I appreciated the my Kindle
Hero or anti-hero? Anti-hero all day. I was a heel as a pro wrestler, so I tend to gravitate in that direction.
3. When you look for books to read, what trope or type of story will always catch your attention?
Time travel is my favourite followed up closely by dystopia.
4. What do you write? Tell us about your current projects and the latest happenings!
I just released “Legacy” which takes place in both American Revolution and 2275. Both in New York City. A malfunction in the machine that sent operatives back to 1775 threatens to leave the operatives stranded in a war zone a couple of miles away…400 years in the past. That malfunction has stranded another operative in ancient Rome and that is the story of “Republica” which is book two in The Dominion series.
5. What is your most recent release? Give us a short presentation, cover, and a link for where to buy it!
As the American Revolution rages on in the colonies, operatives from The Dominion are there to give birth to democracy in the United States as part of a bigger plan to spread freedom throughout the world. What the colonists don’t know is that some of the most prominent figures rebelling alongside them, have travelled back in time from the 22nd century to secure a victory for the colonies. When The Console, the machine that sent them back in time malfunctions, it leaves the operatives trapped in 18th century America. The operatives fight to stay alive long enough to get back home, while their team in the 22nd century work furiously to bring them back safely.
The operatives must try to get back home while still carrying out their mission to free the colonies or risk drastically altering history and freedom as we know it forever. If their mission fails they will come back to an America that never gained its freedom, the America they departed from will no longer exist. As time begins to run out in both centuries, a sinister plot is uncovered that may bring down The Dominion and leave their operatives stranded in a war zone 400 years in the past. The future of America and of democracy in the world hang in the balance.

6. What real-life inspiration do you draw from, and what are your primary fictional sources of inspiration (books, authors, films, music, etc.)? Name a few!
I use current events and historical events. I like sci-fi with a historical fiction twist. At least that is what this first series is.
7. What is your writing routine? If you have one, give us the run-down!
I like to write with instrumental music in the background. I feel that it drowns out the noise but since there are no words, it does not interfere with writing. I have a playlist I created on Spotify and it is my go-to.
8. If you could go back and give yourself one piece of advice as you started out on the path to become an author, what would it be?
Start sooner!! That being said, it’s never too late.
